EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
CL SANITATION AND CLEANING SERVICES was conceived out of the overbearing unhygienic conditions daunting Nakuru and its environs. Having been part of a WASH training seminar hosted under the auspices of ECLOF-KENYA , we gained deeper understanding of what Sanitation is, and it is our desire to actualize the lessons we learnt in the implementation of the envisioned project.
Rasing Awareness
Our project is an undertaking aimed at raising awareness of the need for sound sanitary conditions and hygiene practices within schools, which are the basic units where lessons can be imparted to our children. Our approach in undertaking the same shall be anchored on offering lessons to young people on how to enhance a clean, safe and sustainable sanitary environment for all.
The overall aim of this undertaking is to ensure a significant reduction, if not the eradication of malaria, plus a host of other diseases and ailments spread through parasites which thrive in unhygienic conditions in our schools. A project with an estimated tax deductable maintenance budget of Kshs. 43,500 is therefore envisioned per school per Month. A further 10% contribution from what shall be realized from the same project shall be channelled towards the education of the needy students in schools where the project shall be operational.
Adopt any school of your choice
Again we invite you to support our project by adopting any public school of your choice to enhance the best hygiene for our students. A project of such fundimental service will go a long way in saving the lives of our future generations from sanitation ignorance. We value lives of every person. Hygiene is a basic human right.
In conclusion, have you ever asked yourself how the physically challenged children use the pit latrine. Someone on crutches how do they squat? How do they use the dirty facility full of excrement? We shall make sure they have clean loos fully disinfected. Will you help us either build toilets that are easier to use for the special kids and maintain the ones already there at the higher level of sanitation we shall put in place? Children in ECD will be under supervision from the care taker on site making sure they wash their hands, thus limiting the communicable diseases and emergency rooms visits.
A fresh start on sanitation
Cleanliness as we say is next to Godliness, we feel that it will be best if all the schools within our entire beautiful Kenya get a fresh start on sanitation. Most public schools both primary and secondary schools are the most affected by the sanitation issues. We are also in need of training of kitchen workers on basic health and hygiene protocol and FIRST AID. This will help minimise the spread of germs and surface contamination. Also we need to provide hand wash facilities that work close the toilet so as to curb contamination from child to child after visiting the toilet. We therefore urge your organization to adopt any school of your choice to enhance sanitation.

This will help a lot in showing the generation public to participate in maintenance of environment and toilets around them. Through this all stakeholders involve will be able give a duly respectable support. A school for it to be called safe and environmentally satisfied for use without any problem or fear of infection according to our cost estimates is Kshs 43,500.
